Dee Jay
Get Straight
Intro
As one of four new characters introduced to the series in 1993's Super Street Fighter II, he first appeared in that game. As far as the character set goes, he is a break dancer, recording artist, and Jamaican taekwondo and karate champion.
Dee Jay is a pressure-oriented rush-down character who can set up a wide range of frame traps and other mixups. He focuses heavily on feinting in his playstyle.
Features
One of the moves that made the player impressive is the Air Slasher and Machine Gun Uppercut. Also, Dee Jay can be surprisingly demanding at high levels of play.
A large part of Dee Jay's playstyle revolves around feinting, in which he pretends to be approaching or performing a move before ducking away and returning to neutral. A combination of feints, strong pressure buttons, and his excellent Drive Rush can let Dee Jay dance all over the screen.
