OROCHI Chris - Team Awakened OROCHI
In KOF 97, OROCHI Chris also made his debut, along with Yashiro and Shermie. OROCHI Chris's character color also switches from aqua blue to a specific dark red when you select him when selecting a character. However, when selecting a character, you had to enter a special command to summon him.
A more aggressive flame symbol was added to OROCHI Chris' attack style, moving away from emphasis on flexibility in favor of direct attack. It is interesting to see OROCHI Chris controlling purple flames like Iori and using the same moves as Kyo. For KOF XV, SNK also created costumes for the OROCHI Four Heavenly Kings.
