Leo Kliesen first appeared in the Tekken* series in Tekken 6. Hailing from Germany, Leo is an expert in Bajiquan combat.
In the storyline, Leo harbors deep resentment and anger towards Kazuya Mishima, believing him to be primarily responsible for their mother's death. Leo's mother was a genetics expert, a researcher, and a high-ranking executive at the "G Corporation," which is led by Kazuya Mishima. Unable to directly confront Kazuya, Leo discovered that entering the Tekken fighting tournament was the only path to achieving their goal, thus beginning their journey in the competition.
