Intro
Ling Xiaoyu, first appearing in Tekken 3, is a uniquely enchanting character in the Tekken series. Unlike most competitors, her motive for entering the Iron Fist Tournament is remarkably pure: she dreams of building an unrivaled, perfect theme park in China. Xiaoyu firmly believes that by showcasing extraordinary strength in the tournament, she can compel Heihachi Mishima to fulfill his promise of building her dream park.
Her connection with Heihachi began with a daring "stowaway" attempt. Xiaoyu secretly snuck onto Heihachi's private yacht, and this uninvited intrusion, surprisingly, marked the start of a new chapter in her destiny. Not only did it lead her to become an adopted daughter of the Mishima Zaibatsu, but it also launched her on an extraordinary and challenging journey within the Mishima family.

Ling Xiaoyu is renowned in the Tekken series for her unparalleled agility. She masterfully blends various Chinese martial arts into a unique fighting style. Xiaoyu's performance in speed, evasion, spins, rolls, and backflips is exceptionally fluid, making her next move almost impossible for opponents to accurately predict, rendering her an elusive presence.
However, Xiaoyu does have a clear weakness: relatively low damage per individual hit. To compensate for this, she possesses an exceptionally rich and fluid array of combo sequences. This is her most direct and effective way to make up for her lower single-hit damage.
Consequently, opponents facing Xiaoyu must remain highly vigilant at all times. The moment even the slightest opening appears, they will immediately be met with her whirlwind of multi-hit attacks.
