Chris made his debut in KOF 97 alongside his bandmates Yashiro and Shermie. Despite his youthful and innocent appearance, he carries one of the darkest and most complex backstories in the franchise. As one of the Four Heavenly Kings, Chris is far more than just a skilled fighter; he serves as the most pivotal figure in the Orochi Saga, the sole physical vessel for the awakening of Orochi. This dramatic contrast between his childlike persona and his role as the medium for an ancient god makes him one of the most chilling and iconic characters in The King of Fighters history.
