Goenitz made his debut in the KOF series in KOF 96, serving as the formidable Final Boss. As the leader of the Heavenly Kings of Orochi, he is a supreme master of aerokinesis, wielding the power of wind with a chillingly calm and priestly elegance.
A key highlight of his character is his profound and intricate connection to Iori Yagami. Players will notice that Goenitz utilizes certain secret techniques, such as the iconic Ya Otome, that mirror those of Iori. This is a masterstroke of KOF’s narrative design, subtly revealing the dark ties between the Yagami lineage and the Orochi bloodline.
