Intro
The character first appeared in Street Fighter II as part of the starting lineup, and has appeared in several sequels, as well as the Capcom vs. SNK series. As a member of the original eight playable characters in Street Fighter II, he represents Japan alongside Ryu.
Honda is committed to becoming the greatest sumo wrestler in history, and he teaches sumo to several students. When he discovered that other countries did not consider sumo to be a true sport, he left his dojo and entered the martial arts tournament to prove that sumo wrestlers were the best fighters.
Features
He has powerful special moves like Sumo Headbutt and Hundred Hand Slap that allow him to show his power to his opponents and force them to back down.
In addition to being an aggressive rush-down player, Edmond Honda is also an offensive specialist specializing in long-range advancing offense. Honda's entire game plan revolves around slapping, headbutting, and ground-slamming opponents until he is left standing.
